Feng Shui goes much deeper than just moving things around. It harmonizes the physical and spiritual aspects of place in a way that welcomes desired change. Yesterday I was going through my own house and making adjustments according to current desires, and I realized that the business section of my house (downstairs) was not supportive. The upstairs is actually perfect. I am sitting in it now, at the computer, where ideas become words and networking happens. But I needed some support beneath me. I went down and dusted the area and added a black obelisk to the red-walled area that needed more of the water element. I also lit a stick of incense for the holder that was sitting empty and offered the smoke up in gratitude for the streams of inspiration toward business development.
These tiny tweaks work on a subtle energetic level. They also work in a more pronounced way similar to affirmations, placebo, reason and faith. Making conscious adjustments goes straight to work on the mind that witnesses a supportive environment, quite literally.
